🚶♀️ The Plan: A Riverside Journey
We kick off at the Ilam Park Car Park at a leisurely 11:30 am. From there, it's a venture into the heart of Dovedale, home to the magnificent River Dove and its awe-inspiring limestone ravines. But the real gem? Those picturesque stepping stones that make Dovedale truly magical!
🌄 Thrills and Spills: Thorpe Cloud Summit
Our chosen route is a 1.5-mile circular walk, including a climb to the top of Thorpe Cloud. Prepare for stunning views, but be mindful—a steep ascent awaits, especially if the weather has left its mark. Nature's wonders are weather-dependent, after all!
🗣️ Chat, Stroll, and Wag: All Welcome!
Not feeling the full trek? No problem! Join us for a chat and walk as little or as much as you fancy. Well-behaved dogs, families, and little explorers—everyone is invited to share in the adventure.
☕ After the Hike: Coffee and Company
Post-adventure, we're heading to a local coffee shop (maybe pub, dont tell anyone) to warm up and continue the fun. Because every great exploration deserves a perfect ending!
